The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome changes reverberate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.
